My Story
I thought I'd snagged something on the bottom during my retrieve, until the "snag" pulled back. I knew I had a big one but didn't know what it was (bass, walleye, saugeye) until it broke the water. This is the largest bass I've ever caught and I'm very proud of it. And it became a delicious dinner.
I've had two older model Mepps Minnows for many years, but until last year I hadn't been fishing for over 10 years. I broke out the larger of the two Mepps Minnows after having only caught one 7" smallmouth bass. It was on the 4th cast that I landed this beauty.
