While fishing a deep weed edge during an approaching front , the large musky hit about 5 feet from the boat. The wind blew us onto the weeds and the fish buried itself deep in the salad. My fishin buddy, Mike Reed, fired up the outboard and pulled us to deeper water. I was able to horse the musky out. After a fine net job, I had landed my biggest musky to date.
