My Story
Fishing below the ferry on the Kenai River my dad caught this nice Salmon fishing in medium heavy current. When the fish took the bait, which is sometimes rare for a red salmon, it turned to the fast waters and tried to get away, but my dad managed to turn the head and land him. But before he did, it broke the tip of his fishing pole when it jumped out of the water and landed on the tip of the rod which was near the ground. Looks like the fish got the last laugh before being sealed in a vacuum sealed bag.
