My Story
Fished the lower sections in the rain today. Found fish spawning on the redds. Lots of fish around. Had to work hard to get them to bite. Got this fish in fast water. I was holding the spinner in the current when this fish nailed my Mepps. I really like fishing down low because the creek is wide and there is enough room to fight fish. But the fish hit different down here. They hit fast and it's hard to see them strike when the current is so fast. I like my little spot far upstream way better. I can see them hit. The current is perfect there. Yeah it's harder to fish for them because they spook, but it's much better than the lower sections. I will try to go back to my favorite spot tomorrow depending on the amount of rain we get. Fun Mepps catch!
