My Story
This is a stocked lake, with an average size of 8" to 12" rainbow. I never expected to catch a rainbow of this size with my Mepps #1.
Mepps is by far my favorite lures for Trout and Pike. Recently came back from a fly in fishing trip to Northern Alberta. All I used was a Gold Mepps Syclops #2, a very successful lure for both the Pike and Trout. Between the six of use we caught between 200 to 250 Pike and about 100 to 150 lake trout (over the course of six days) a great fishing trip!
