| My fishing buddy and I found a few packages of the Micro Craw in one of those bins at the end of the aisle. The price was right, so we each picked a couple up. I threaded one on a 1/16th oz. pink lead-head jig, and tossed it out under a slip bobber. The bait didn't have time to settle before I saw the flash of the fish. 30 seconds later I had a 3/4 lb bluegill in the boat. Second cast was a repeat. As was the 3rd. And 4th. By the time I had my 5th gill in the livewell, my buddy had a Micro Craw on his hook, and joined in the fun. After 3-4 more fish, all the legs and claws were chewed off of my bait, so I threaded on another. We limited out, went home to clean fish and have a fish fry, but not before we stopped back at the store and cleaned them out of every last package of Micro Crawfish we could find. I never used live bait a single time last year. |
