Description

This is the original fish catcher other plastic lures have tried so hard to imitate. Rig it anyway you can imagine. The action of the original Mister Twister can't be beat. Available in both 4" and 6" sizes. It's ideal for all game fish. The color selection is nothing short of tremendous. Terrific in saltwater.

6" Twister Tail – You asked, we listened. Now offering more colors to the original 6" Twister Tail lineup. These new colors were added based on the input of experienced Mister Twister anglers who know a thing or two about bass fishing. 6" Twister Tails can be rigged anyway you can imagine, but some of the more popular techniques are Texas rigging, Carolina rigging, or you can use it as a trailer on your favorite spinner bait or jig. There is a reason why this product has been around for as long as it has, the action and durability of the original Twister Tail simply can't be beat.

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Crappie (Black) - Pike, Northern - Walleye

We have been using yellow mister twisters for years, this Memorial Day I caught a sneaky 29" Northern Pike on a little yellow twister, it's just the best lure ever made.

Matt Pastell – Trout Lake, California

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

I chose the 4" Twister Tail grub in the new color smoke with purple flake to fish for largemouth bass early in the season when the water was cool. Opening weekend it was the most productive lure, catching largemouth bass from 12 1/2 to 18 1/2 inches. Now I am really glad that I bought 200 of these grubs. I may not use them all this year, since are very durable, yet remaining soft and pliable.

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

When I was younger, my brother not only taught me how to fish, but he also gave me some of his fishing gear when he moved out. This included some twister tails. That was about 20 years ago and I am still fishing with those same lures today! They have become my "go to lure" for large mouth bass. Unfortunately, last year, after a pike destroyed one, I was only left with one. They were so old, I was nervous that they wouldn't have them in the same color. I am excited to say, I just order some and they are identical! These lures are the best that I have ever used, and they have never failed me. While I like to keep my tricks and "secret weapons" quiet, I cannot wait to share these little guys!

Mike Johnson – Pymatuning, Pennsylvania

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth

I used this lure while the bass were spawning i found it to stir them up when it hit their bed and got some nice strikes.I found this to work best when rigged with a heavier jig-head to give it a stronger tail wiggle.

Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock

Spotted bass cannot stand a 4inch smoke or pumpkin Mister Twister twister tail being swept by current!! Swim it, bounce it, twitch it, deep, shallow, doesn't matter! These grubs last, and the action can't be beat! a slow finesse presentation is deadly when the fish are finicky, but when the bite is on, swim it fast and hold on!!! These grubs helped me secure a spot in the 2013 FLW Walmart Bass Fishing League All-American Tournament

Tom – Ocean City, New Jersey

Fish Caught: Bass, Striped

This started back in the early 70's. We were using buck tails with a white 6" twister as a trailer and caught hundreds of Stripers and Weakfish on this combo. Fast forward to 2013. I have tried many other lures over the years, but still go with this 6" twister. They also produce on their own with a jig head, although a Mylar buck tail with any light color twister trailer seems to be the most productive. BTW, I tried these Texas rigged, weightless at a local freshwater lake and the Largemouth also slam these. I just turned 60 and probably have my greatest fishing memories over the last 40 years using these 6" twisters. Good fishing to all!

Fish Caught: Walleye

A guy I was fishing next to was using the Mister Twister Chartreuse Twister tail and catching fish. Other people were also using Mister Twister in the same color. I decided to throw out something different. I used the Chartreuse with the orange core with a black jig head. On my first cast I caught a 26 inch Walleye. It was the biggest one I caught yet. The second cast landed me a Sauger. I don't feel bad buying the $55 dollar kit with almost all the colors now.

Gord – Bay Of Quinte, Ontario , Canada

Fish Caught: Walleye

Hands down the best lure for the Bay of Quinte walleye. White, Black & solid Yellow !!!!!

Tony Scott – Red Lake, Ontario , Canada

Fish Caught: Walleye

I use a wire leader now even when fishing Mister Twisters for Walleyes, because Northern Pike find them delicious! We are catching some of our biggest Pike as "incidental" to our Walleye fishing.
