My Story
I was scouting out a new location to take my wife fishing. I'd been on the pond, puttering around the deep spots for about 45 minutes, hoping for some brown trout, but decided to go look for some bass.
About five minutes later, I discovered my boat has a slow leak in it, and I was half-heartedly casting out in a circumference around me. When I cast into a deeper part, my rod dipped. Figuring I snagged on one of the boulders I was drifting over, I yanked on the line, which yanked back.
Big Bruno didn't put up much of a fight, but it was all I could do to pull him over to the boat.
Later, when I was cleaning him, when I slit his gullet open, a 4" brown trout slipped out... so I guess technically I caught my brown today. :-)
