My Story
Fished two days on the New. The first day was tough, recent rains left the river looking like creamy coffee and I only caught one fish using buzz baits and plastics. The second day came with better water, but, a slow start. I had just picked up a few Mepps Aglia's to take on this trip, but, had never used them before. After tying on a dressed Aglia #2, I caught seven fish(5 smallmouths and 2 rock bass) that day without much work as I was equally enjoying the float and whitewater canoeing.
