Two weeks before I caught this I hooked into this beast on a different mister twister curly tail grub. At that time, we had no net, and it was nearly impossible to land the fish, so unfortunately, we lost it. I was depressed for two weeks knowing I'll probably never have an opportunity like that again. Until one day, on my very first cast I hooked into it again! I was using another mister twister curly tail grub. Unfortunately, it got off again. I thought it would be the same story where I wouldn't see any action again for weeks. But as soon as I cast out a new curly tail grub, I hooked into it again! But I lost it. I was so mad. I was going to quit fishing. After hours more of casting, I saw this fish explode on my lure. This time the fish wasn't so lucky. After a five minute fight I had finally landed this fish after nearly a month of trying.
