Lure: 2" Teenie™
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (White) - Sunfish (shellcracker)In the small mountain lakes around the Ozarks the fish can be picky at best. I can always rely on my trusy little Teenies to catch the big ones!! Best colors I have found are the chartruce/blk line, brown orange tail and the limegreen yellow tail. When the fishing gets rough thats when I dig out the Teenies. Thanks Mr Twister!!!!
Lure: 3" & 4" Hawg Frawg®
Fish Caught: Bass, LargemouthIn the past 20 years I have caught over 100 bass in excess of 7.5 pounds. The largest being over 13 pounds. I have always used the 3-inch black/chartrueseHAWG FRAWG on a jig head. It can be run on the surface or counted down. The leg action of this frog is unmatched by any other. This may possibly be the best shallow water lure ever created. THANK YOU MISTER TWISTER!!!
Lure: 4" & 6" Twister® Tail
Fish Caught: Bass, LargemouthThe good old 6" Mister Twister in white, black, yellow, chartreuse, purple, etc. are great fished alone, trailing a hair jig and trailing a single blade spinner bait. They are one of the very best of lures, fished 12 months of the year on Bull Shoals - the MO - AR border lake; and at any water level. We hope Mister Twister will continue to make them, and even add more colors with flake added in. We use the 3" size in yellow, chartreuse or white on head water creeks and rivers fished on a 1/8 oz. jig head; and also as a spinner bait or buzz bait trailer when fishing on the twin lakes.
