Lure: 3" Sassy Grub
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Rock - Bass, Smallmouth - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Musky - Pickerel - Pike, Northern - Walleye
So glad to see these are back. My go-to lure. One of these on a jig head with a jig spinner is my absolute favorite combination. My last Mister Twister order had 4 100 count bags and I'm running low. Now I just need the CAN-US border to open again (covid) so I can place an order for pick up in NY State. I was getting worried because my inventory is getting low and the product was discontinued. Thank you Mister Twister for bringing this product back.Lure: 1¼" Nymph
Fish Caught: Trout, Cutthroat
Cast and ultra-slow retrieved the black nymph under an adjust-a-bubble, on 5' of 4 lb fluorocarbon leader with a #8 bait holder hook and a brass bead, aka the Poor Woman's Spincast Fly Fishing Rig.Lure: Top Prop®
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern
This is one of the best lures I have found for northern pike or eastern chain pickerel. It casts extremely well and fish will come from 10 or even 15 feet away to smash it. Awesome bait!Lure: 5" FAT Curly Tail®
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth
these work great for spinner bait, swim bait, and jig trailers!Lure: 4" Split Double Tail
Fish Caught: Walleye
A few years back, I went on a Fly-in fishing trip to Big Hook Lodge in Ontario. I was a little kid, only a 6th grader. I fell in love with the Mister Twister Split Double Tail. Every cast I got a hit, if not landing a fish in the boat. This is a compliment to both Mister Twister and Big Hook Lodge. I caught a 26" Walleye, 14" Perch and a 38 1/2" Northern Pike. I've caught more fish on this lure, than any other lure that I've ever fished with. if the Fishing slows down. I toss on a Split Double Tail and a 1/4 Oz. Jig Head, it catches any Freshwater predatory fish that you can dream of.Lure: 4" & 6" Twister® Tail
Fish Caught: Walleye
Hands down the best lure for the Bay of Quinte walleye. White, Black & solid Yellow !!!!!Lure: 4" & 6" Twister® Tail
Fish Caught: Walleye
I use a wire leader now even when fishing Mister Twisters for Walleyes, because Northern Pike find them delicious! We are catching some of our biggest Pike as "incidental" to our Walleye fishing.Lure: 4" & 6" Twister® Tail
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth
WOW, we were fishing with Power Bait Berkly nothing, as soon as changed to Mr Twister recomended by our charter/guide, BAM 20" ( 51 cm ) Elbow Size Smallmouth Bass is on.Lure: G-Grub®
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth
I fished in eastern Ontario the past week, The 4" black G-grub was great for pike on most lakes we fished. The G-grub color that brought nearly smallmouth bass to the boat was the pumpkin pepper 3" or 4", I have never had a better day of smallie fishing ever! I ran out of these lures and any other plastic bait I could find did only OK, Needless to say, many more pumpkin pepper G-grubs on order!Lure: Top Prop®
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Pike, Northern
Today is a very sad day, I just lost my Top Prop. This lure is to me one of the best all-around surface fishing lure. It can get into places no other lures can (seriously it's amazing). The first thing I do when I get to a new location is take out my Top Prop. like if predators have something personal with the lure.Lure: BigySmal Meatloaf Shad
We Absolutely nailed Jumbo perch on em' and we caught the odd northern and smallmouthLure: 3" Tri-Alive™ Sassy Grub®
Fish Caught: Walleye
I went back with the Sassy Grub and just as I thought, not only was I looking forward to using them, but the wallyeye loved hiting them. No live bait needed, they worked great. Thanks Mister Twister you made my trip. 2007 was a bang up year, can't wait untill 2008. Keep up the good work.Lure: 3" & 4" Hawg Frawg®
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth
I stopped in at a local fishing store and noticed the Mister Twister Hawg Frawg and decided to make my dad purchase me 3 of them. He was agaisnt it but I insisted. So later we went fishing and my dad told me to use that frog, so I put it on and cast it out and BAM caught myself a nice bass (small but nice :D). We were leaving so I decided to troll the frog just for kicks and 15 seconds later BAM, another decent bass. Later that day I decided to fish off my dock and a few minutes in BAM, another nice bass. I love this lure/bait and everyone else out there that likes to catch bass quickley and efficiently should try it. :D :)
