They work Great on everything I've Filleted. They are exceptional on Crappie.
Fish Caught: Bass, Largemouth - Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Trout, Rainbow - WalleyeI have had my knife for about 6 years now. It has filleted a very good amount of fish. Just this afternoon filleted nearly 50 big slab crappie. I'm very pleased with the knife. It has worked very well. The only complaint I have is that after about 10 fish I noticed the blades where getting gummed up. I recommend this knife to anyone looking for an easy way to fillet a bunch of fish. The make fast work of getting the job done.
Fish Caught: Pike, Northern - Salmon, Atlantic - Salmon, Coho (silver) - Salmon, Pink - Steelhead - Trout, Brown - Trout, Lake - Trout, Rainbow - Salmon, Chinook (king)I have cleaned fish for over 40 years the manual way, but now, I'm able to fly through the cleaning process like nobodies business. I was pleasantly surprised with the great control of the blade angle and the speed. I have cleaned some large Salmon and Lakers with this knife and the Mister Twister product has impressed me at every step of the way. Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Catfish, Channel - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Perch, Yellow - Trout, RainbowMy wife bought me the electric fisherman for my birthday 2 years ago and since then it is my go to fillet blade. Its so much faster then a standard fillet blade. I also think it gives back more of a yield of meat then a standard blade. I have also used it to slice the thanksgiving turkey. I have never has an issue and would highly recommend this to anybody.
Fish Caught: Almost Any SpeciesJust wanted to let anyone that wants to listen what I think about Mister Twister fillet knives. First of all, I have used one of there knives for a very long time. (maybe 20 years) I recently bought another on because I had basically wore my last one out. Nothing last forever. I brought some walleyes home from the days fishing trip and opened up my new knife. I put in the blades, and started to fillet the first fish. I realized there was something very wrong. Somewhat disappointed, I called the phone number provided in the package the knife came in. I spoke with a very customer focused young lady named Lisa. She instructed me to send in the knife, and told me she would send it back in a carry case to make up for my shipping. To my surprise, a package showed up at my door less than a week after I had sent it. I opened the package. The knife, and the carry case was inside along with an explanation of what they had done to the knife. That was a week ago. I went fishing yesterday, and brought home a few walleyes. I pulled the knife out, and it preformed perfectly. Thanks again Lisa, and Mister Twister for not only make a superior electric knife, but for the excellent customer service. James, Melrose MN.
Fish Caught: Bass, Smallmouth - Bass, Striped - Bass, White - Bluegill (Bream, Brim) - Crappie (Black) - Crappie (White) - Pike, Northern - WalleyeI finally wore my first Electric Fisherman out after nearly 15 years. I actually bought a new Electric Fisherman as well as a Piranha electric knife 2 yrs ago. I just bought the Cuda 8" blade and am anxious to give it a go this spring. Comfort, strong, durable, and even after limits of several species it does not over heat.
