I cut this in half and use it for a ned rig with the 3/32 oz. Mule Jig, and it is the best plastic I've ever used on a ned rig. I haven't used it this way yet but it would go great on a wacky rig or Texas rig. The air pockets give you a very unique presentation that is absolutly worth it.Lure: 3" Sassy Grub

So glad to see these are back. My go-to lure. One of these on a jig head with a jig spinner is my absolute favorite combination. My last Mister Twister order had 4 100 count bags and I'm running low. I have had my knife for about 6 years now. It has filleted a very good amount of fish. Just this afternoon filleted nearly 50 big slab crappie. I'm very pleased with the knife. It has worked very well. The only complaint I have is that after about 10 fish I noticed the blades where getting gummed up. The Lil Bit is one of the best lures you can fish. Sure I've caught bass galore on these, but that's not what I really use these for. These Lil Bits on a small (1/4 to 1/8 Oz.) jig head are LETHAL on Shad! When they show up in mid May it's not unusual to put 30 to 50 fish EACH through the boat! That's a hundred fish in an afternoon. I have the pictures to back this claim up too. What a ball! I can't recommend these highly enough. Pink and Chartreuse are the hot tickets. My wife bought me the electric fisherman for my birthday 2 years ago and since then it is my go to fillet blade. Its so much faster then a standard fillet blade. I also think it gives back more of a yield of meat then a standard blade. I have also used it to slice the thanksgiving turkey. I started using Mister Twister Sassy Shads about four years ago and it never fails to catch fish I've caught more fish with these than all other baits combined. I don't even take my big tackle box with me any more, all I take is a plastic bag with two and a half and three inch sassy shads pearl white and black, a couple extra 1/16 and 1/8 oz. black lead jig heads and I know I'll catch fish. Went a float trip with several friends. The lure of choice is the Mister Twister 3" curly tail. Hands down the BEST one on the market. I buy them in bulk to supply my friends for the trip as well. We caught the biggest smallmouth we ever have on this trip. When it comes to the Mister Twister 3" Meeny, its often imitated but NEVER duplicated. I fished through pools and caught fish on the meeny twister and when they would stop biting I would cast in a twistermite on a short dropshot and continue to catch fish. Other times, when I would get no bites with horizontal lures, the twistermite on a dropshot would get 4-5 fish from areas I thought were devoid of fish. Rig this on a jig head or as a drop shot and its a nice minnow bait for anything that eats minnows. Bouncing them off the bottom i have cought all kinds of panfish and even walleye and small bass when the watter starts warming. I fished in eastern Ontario the past week, The 4" black G-grub was great for pike on most lakes we fished. The G-grub color that brought nearly smallmouth bass to the boat was the pumpkin pepper 3" or 4", I have never had a better day of smallie fishing ever! I purchased the Twistermite last year but never used them. I decided to go fishing on the first warm day after a hard winter and was not getting anything on spinners. I decided to try the Twistermite out and to my surprise I caught and released over 15 small mouths that afternoon with the largest going around 18 inches. While smallmouth fishing, the Tri Alive bloodline shiner out performs everything. When wade fishing with friends, They would ask me to try my bloodline shiner in a prime spot they were fishing with no success, knowing my lure was the best we had. Each time I would catch the large fish they knew was there. The Tri Alive series are great, please make them forever.
